A Better Way to Divide Startup Equity

Entrepreneurs often have problems when it comes to fairly distributing equity in their new startups. Is there a way to calculate how much a person’s time is worth to a company? Venture capitalist, University of Chicago Booth School of Business professor, and author, Mike Moyer, discusses what he calls, “The Grunt Fund”, a dynamic way of dividing equity for startups in his popular new book, Slicing Pie.
